  3. For the tty nethack.exe binary, you can alter the value of
  4. keystrokes that the system will return to NetHack in defaults.nh.
  5. OPTIONS=subkeyvalue:171/92
  6. will return 92 to NetHack, if 171 was originally going to be returned.
  7. You can use multiple subkeyvalue statements in defaults.nh if needed.

  9. Save and bones files created with version 3.4.0 should work with 3.4.1.
  10. Save and bones files created with versions earlier than 3.4.0 won't.

  12. Note that 3.4.x has a whole bunch of new defaults.nh options for
  13. controlling layout and fonts used in the 
  14. "NetHack for Windows - Graphical Inteface."  
  15. The best source of information about those at the
  16. present time is the Windows specific help from within the game.

  18. recover.exe is no longer bundled into the binary distribution because
  19. recover functionality has been included in NetHack itself.

  21. perm_invent support did not make it into either win32 interface 
  22. in time for the 3.4.1 release.

  24. Save files and bones files should be completely 
  25. compatible between the graphical and tty versions.

  27. The Guidebook is stored in the binary distribution as Guidebook.txt.
