<P><##001><B><C>Important information for SCSI drive users
Enabling the 'Write Back Cache' option on the Adaptec AHA2940UW
(945300-02 B) controller may result in data corruption. During
testing, on average, one sector per gigabyte was affected when
writing large blocks of data to the drive. The speed of the
system and delay between writes changed the results.
This problem MAY be limited to the old (1996?) "945300-02 B" chip.
Testing with the same (brand/model/assy num) adapter with an
"945300-02 C" chip resulted with NO data corruption.
It's unknown if this problem exists in any other SCSI controllers
or chipsets.
To disable the 'Write Back Cache' in an Adaptec AHA2940UW, set the
'Enable Write Back Cache' option to 'No'. You can find this option
under 'SCSI Device Configuration' in the latest version of the
SCSISelect utility. To start the SCSISelect utility, press Ctrl-A
when the Adaptec copyright message is displayed during the boot
process.

<B>BootNow(TM)
Boots an item on the boot menu from within DOS, Win9x, WinME,
WinNT, Win2K, or Linux. Simply create a short-cut to boot one

shutdown, restart, and boot the selection automatically. It can
also be used to start an image set using the /ims= switch.
<B>KBMap
Change the way your keys are mapped on the keyboard when
using BootIt NG. If you have an AZERTY keyboard and pressing
