  1. By using this software you agree to the following terms and conditions and any additional terms and 
  2. conditions in the accompanying documentation. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, 
  3. uninstall our software. 
  4. 1.     Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. hereby grants to you a non-exclusive, nontransferable 
  5. license to use the Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. software product "ABC VIDEOROLL" and 
  6. related user documentation. YOU DO NOT OWN THE SOFTWARE ITSELF.
  7. 1.1.    Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. constitutes and shall remain the sole owner of the 
  8. software. The software program and accompanying documentation are proprietary products of 
  9. Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. and are protected by international copyright laws, international 
  10. treaty provisions and applicable law.
  11. 1.2.     You can use the software for unlimited period of time and install it on unlimited number of 
  12. systems. You hereby certify that you would do your best to transfer this software to as many users as 
  13. possible, via any lawful means available to you.
  14. 1.3.     Commercial distribution of the software is restricted without permission of Advanced 
  15. Technology Partners, Inc.  You cannot include the software on any electronic or other media such as 
  16. CD-ROM's, floppy disks, BBS, http or ftp sites, and any other place with implicit or explicit costs for 
  17. users. The software is lifetime freeware, and should stay such for everyone. You must contact 
  18. Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. if you are going to include the software on any of the above, and 
  19. proceed only if and when you'll receive our certified permission. We reserve the right to refuse any 
  20. requests without further explanation.
  21. 2.     You may not: rent or lease the software; attempt to determine the source code for the 
  22. software; modify, reprogram, translate, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise reverse engineer the 
  23. software; extract any bits or resources of the software, such as code, icons, images, text, and so on. 
  24. Any attempt to do any of the above will automatically terminate your right to use the software without 
  25. notice from Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. and would cause you to be prosecuted as stated in 
  26. international intellectual property laws.
  27. 3.     WARRANTIES. EVERY SOFTWARE EXAMPLE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". Advanced Technology 
  28. Partners, Inc. MAKES NO WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR 
  29. ANY PARTICULAR USE, TYPE OF QUALITY OF SOFTWARE, OR COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY COMPUTER OR 
  30. THEIR KIND OF EQUIPMENT. THE ENTIRE RISK IS ASSUMED BY YOU. NEITHER Advanced Technology 
  31. Partners, Inc., NOR ITS EMPLOYEES, DEALERS OR SUPPLIERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS.
  32. 4.     This License Agreement is effective from the first date you use this software and will remain in 
  33. force until terminated. You may terminate this License Agreement at any time by removing the 
  34. software and accompanying written materials together with all existing copies. This License Agreement 
  35. shall also automatically terminate if you breach any of the terms and conditions of this License 
  36. Agreement. If for any reason your right to use the software terminates, you must remove and destroy 
  37. all copies of this software and any documentation provided to you.
  38. 5.     This License Agreement may not be modified. If any term of this License Agreement is found 
  39. unenforceable, the terms shall be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. 
  40. Advanced Technology Partners, Inc. disclaims any warranty, representation or promise, which is 
  41. different from, or in addition to, the representations or promises of this License Agreement.
  42. 6.     This License Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the 
  43. State of Rhode Island.  If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this 
  44. Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the Agreement shall be enforce 
  45. to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this 
  46. Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.  This agreement supersedes all other 
  47. communications, understandings or agreements we may have had prior to this agreement.  
  48. 7.     Your use of the software is an acknowledgment that you have read and agreed to the terms and 
  49. conditions of this License Agreement.
