  2. The License.

  7. Registered Version

  9.     One registered copy of SmartBackup may either
  10.     be used by a single person who uses the software
  11.     personally on one or more computers, or installed
  12.     on a single workstation used non-simultaneously
  13.     by multiple people, but not both.
  14.  
  15.     You may access the registered version
  16.     of SmartBackup through a network, provided that you
  17.     have obtained individual licenses for the software
  18.     covering all workstations that will access the
  19.     software through the network. For instance, if
  20.     8 different workstations will access SmartBackup
  21.     on the network, each workstation must have its own
  22.     SmartBackup license, regardless of whether they use
  23.     SmartBackup at different times or concurrently.

  25.     You may use the registered version of SmartBackup
  26.     as a hub to copy files from one computer connected
  27.     on the network to another computer connected on the
  28.     network, provided that you have obtained individual
  29.     licenses for the software covering all computers
  30.     that will be accessed by the hub.

  34. License Agreement
  35.  
  36.     You should carefully read the following terms and
  37.     conditions before using this software.  Unless you have
  38.     a different license agreement signed by Onlime Media
  39.     your use of this software indicates your acceptance
  40.     of this license agreement and warranty.

  42.        The "SmartBackup" is shareware. This means:
  43.  
  44.     1. All copyrights to "SmartBackup" are exclusively
  45.        owned by the Onlime Media.
  46.  
  47.     2. Anyone may use this software during a test
  48.        period of 30 days. Following this test period of 30
  49.        days or less, if you wish to continue to use
  50.        "SmartBackup", you MUST register.
  51.  
  52.        Once registered, the user is granted
  53.        a non-exclusive license to use "SmartBackup"
  54.        on as many computers as defined by the licensing
  55.        terms above according to the number of licenses
  56.        purchased, for any legal purpose.  The
  57.        registered "SmartBackup" software may not be
  58.        rented or leased, but may be permanently
  59.        transferred, in it's entirety, if the person
  60.        receiving it agrees to the terms of this
  61.        license.  If the software is an update, the
  62.        transfer must include the update and all
  63.        previous versions.

  65.     3. The "SmartBackup" unregistered shareware
  66.        version, may be freely distributed, provided the
  67.        distribution package is not modified. No person
  68.        or company may charge a fee for the distribution
  69.        of "SmartBackup" without written permission from
  70.        the copyright holder.

  72.     4. "SMARTBACKUP" IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS".  NO
  73.        WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
  74.        YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE
  75.        LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS
  76.        OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING
  77.        OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

  79.     5. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, 
  80.        lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble,
  81.        otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the
  82.        licensed program, or any subset of the licensed
  83.        program, except as provided for in this
  84.        agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  85.        result in immediate and automatic termination
  86.        of this license and may result in criminal
  87.        and/or civil prosecution.

  89.        All rights not expressly granted here are
  90.        reserved by Onlime Media.

  92.     6. Installing and using "SmartBackup" signifies 
  93.        acceptance of these terms and conditions of the
  94.        license.

  96.     7. If you do not agree with the terms of this 
  97.        license you must remove "SmartBackup" files from
  98.        your storage devices and cease to use the
  99.        product.
