Users Please Note: Checking this option may cause undesirable operation of SecureIt Pro - if SecureIt Pro exits immediately after unlocking, no Settings or Advanced Settings will be able to be changed. Avoid setting SecureIt Pro to operate on a recursive loop.

Note: To show SecureIt Pro after it has been hidden, simply make a mouse movement.
Enable &MouseAlive
MouseAlive keeps your mouse cursor alive while SecureIt Pro is locked. This ultimately prevents the screen saver from activating, which is a way by which SecureIt Pro's security could be defeated.
However, enabling MouseAlive may also prevent power-saving features installed for your monitor from activating.
MouseAlive can be used in conjunction with:
Note: MouseAlive is ONLY active while SecureIt Pro is locked.
&Enable QuickLock
&Password to use:
Enable &AutoLock for QuickLock
QuickLock is akin to the QuickSecure function. However, QuickLock can be used to lock SecureIt Pro right after it is started, unlike QuickSecure, which requires SecureIt Pro to be running.
The Password specified above will be used to lock SecureIt Pro when it is QuickLocked.
QuickSecure is invoked via SecureIt Pro's command line arguments, using /QL. However, AutoLock will account for this argument and if enabled, will lock SecureIt Pro when it is started, without needing the /QL switch.
Note: To QuickLock SecureIt Pro using command line arguments, use the /QL switch. For example: C:\Program Files\SecureIt Pro\secureitpro.exe /ql
When saving data for SecureIt Pro in the registry, save it to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
SecureIt Pro can save its application data to the system registry under either of the above two divisions.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is global, which means it will affect all users who use the computer. This means that all users of SecureIt Pro on one computer will share the same set of options and settings.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER is user-dependant, which means that if selected, settings for SecureIt Pro will be different for each user who uses the computer.

When starting up when Windows starts, start as a:
&Normal Program [RUN]
&System Service [RUNSERVICES]
SecureIt Pro can start when Windows starts up using one of two different methods.
Starting SecureIt Pro as a normal program means that it will be called by Windows each time a new user logs into Windows. It is given the same priority as other applications that start up with Windows.
Starting SecureIt Pro as a system service means that it will be called by Windows when the logon dialog box first appears, or at this stage of booting of there is no logon. This is used for background services and are run only once per boot.
NOTE: System Service can only be used if HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is selected in Registry Options.
Use the SecureIt Pro &screen saver feature
In &lieu of existing screen saver
&Under existing screen saver

&Password to use:
SecureIt Pro can act as the system screen saver. It can either start as the system screen saver and lock your computer that way, or it can start underneath your current screen saver and provide a 'double layer' of protection that way. Hit F1 for more information.
Note: To set the screen saver, please click the Show Screen Saver Display Properties button.
&Enable Windows screen saver disabling
Remove screen saver listing from &SYSTEM.INI file
Set ScreenSaveActive to false
SecureIt Pro can disable the Windows screen saver. Sometimes, under certain circumstances, it may be possibly for SecureIt Pro's security to be circumvented by a screen saver. Therefore it may be necessary to disable these screen savers from running.
Note: Screen Saver Disabling is ONLY active while SecureIt Pro is locked.
