  4. DEDUCTUS is shareware.

  6. Thank you for evaluating DEDUCTUS.

  8. Deductus is disk catalog and lite full text personal 
  9. search engine. It can search your hard disk, CD-ROMs, 
  10. ZIP disks, Audio CD, mapped network disks, shared network disks, 
  11. network computers, etc. 
  12. It recognonize basic text formats, images, documents and support 
  13. transparent browsing in archives.
  14. First you must create indexes for each disk. 
  15. When indexes are prepared, searching is very fast.

  17. Deductus extract content of many supported file formats
  18. like documents, PDF files, images and sound files.
  19.  
  20. Search query is based on boolean searching. 
  21. Search result is sorted by relevance and can be exported
  22. to HTML, XLS, TXT.

  109. Installing and Starting DEDUCTUS
  110. Windows and NT users: 
  111. To install, click on SETUP.EXE. Click Yes. Follow the instructions
  112. on the screen. To start, click Start/Programs. Go to the DEDUCTUS
  113. folder and click "Deductus".

  117. HOW TO REGISTER

  119. Deductus is shareware. You can evaluate it free of charge for a
  120. maximum of 30 days - after that time you can either pay & continue using it,
  121. or remove it from your computer.
