version 3.1.1.2 Adds Simflex List Manager/Image browser, multi-image TIF support, image touch up tool, multi-image (1,2,4,9,36) per page printing, network folder access, and corrections to EXIF comments processing.
version 3.1.2.1 Adds "Tree list" user interface to list builder. The tree folder is similiar to the list that appears in standard file save and open dialogs. Additionally, an option has been added to allow the user to choose to set the ThumbNail Refinery input folder to the folder browsed in the list builder. This is handy because it allows you to use the thumbnail browser to find images and save folder path for processing. Watermark image processing was re-worked. When ThumbNail Refinery was converted to use Lead Raster Imaging engine siginficant problems emerged. Basically, three part merging of images isn't directly supported. At the time, region processing was the method chosen to implement the merging. The implementation wasn't good. While it worked well for masks with "clean" edges, masks with fuzzy edges caused the output to be jagged rather than soft. Version 3.1.2 corrects most of the problems that were associated with the region based approach. Complex watermarks using soft edged masks result in a "soft" edged rendering in the output image. The version 3.1.2.3's watermark implementation is much superior to the original 3.0.x.x and 3.1.1.x releases but cannot exactly duplicate the output results of ver 2.0.3.11 Image Knife engine... but its close.
version 3.1.3.2 Fully implements drag/drop in the List Manager. The feature associated with the file browser was omitted in previous releases.
Version 3.1.3.12 implements additional water mark date options and input directory mirroring... Corrected several bugs in thumbscript processing.
Version 3.5.1.1 Due to a name conflict with another application we have changed the name to ThumbNail Refinery.
