Speed and File Management were the two main goals for EyeBrowse 2.3.
> ** THEY WERE ACHIEVED! ** Read on... <
The base imaging function of EyeBrowse has been rewritten for 2.3. It provides sturdy, reliable, fast and integrated image viewing facilities which no version before has had. The 'way' EyeBrowse renders images to the background canvas has also been optimised, this has had seriously good implications for the performance of just showing an image, nevermind loading it. You can SEE this improvement easily by showing an image in the normal interface then showing that same image in full screen mode. Full screen mode has not yet been optimised, the image loading has and it loads images as fast as the main interface. Also, Tile mode now bypasses all limitations there were in beta versions of this function, it's the fastest tiling that can be performed! EyeBrowse WILL only get better, the fun doesn't stop at 2.32!
