  17. What is ICQ ?

  19. ICQ is a revolutionary, user-friendly Internet tool that informs you
  20. who's on-line at any time and enables you to contact them at will.
  21. No longer will you search in vain for friends or associates on the Net.
  22. ICQ does the searching for you, alerting you in real time when they log on.
  23. The need to conduct a directory search each time you want to communicate
  24. with a specific person is eliminated. ICQ are trademark of ICQ Inc.

  27. What is ICQ Plus ?
  28. -------------------
  29. ICQ Plus allows you to change the appearance of ICQ. When installed,
  30. ICQ Plus integrates with ICQ by adding a menu item to the main menu.
  31. Choosing this menu item brings up a dialog which lets you configure
  32. ICQ's appearance in several ways. You can apply a predefined skin or
  33. create one yourself. ICQ Plus also allows you to change the appearance
  34. of individual features as well. You can change background images of dialog
  35. boxes (BMP, JPEG, and GIF images are supported), change the main menu image,
  36. set your own animated GIF or AVI file instead of standard ICQ animation,
  37. and change the style of dialog boxes, buttons, other controls,
  38. and individual dialog box settings. Skin files can be imported and exported
  39. via ZIP file. ICQ Plus also has multi-user and multi-ICQ support.
  40. ICQ Plus runs on Windows 95/98/98SE/ME/NT/2000/XP.

  44.  - Run iplus32.exe. The installation wizard will guide you through
  45.    the install process. 
  46.  - Restart computer if prompted. 
  47.  - Select in ICQ main menu "Plus" item and choose skin or create your own skin.
