  2.                INSTALLING COELI - ADASTRA
  3.                ---------------------------

  5.  Before you do anything else, place your mouse-pointer over the
  6.  time readout in your System Tray and make sure your PC's clock
  7.  is showing today's date. If not, you will need to double click
  8.  and set it before attempting to install this Coeli product.
  9.  
  10.  
  11. Windows automatic installation
  12. ------------------------------
  13.  
  14. Your Adastra package is installed simply by double clicking on
  15. the file SETUP.EXE once you have unzipped the contents of
  16. Adastra.zip to a folder of your choosing.
  17.  
  18. We recommend the excellent WinZip utility for unpacking
  19. Adastra's main .zip archive. You can get the latest version
  20. of Winzip from

  25. THE SETUP UTILITY LEAVES ALL PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED FILES OF THE
  26. SAME NAME INTACT, SO WITHOUT FIRST REMOVING THE LAST
  27. INSTALLATION, A NEW COPY OF THE PACKAGE CANNOT BE INSTALLED.

  30. UNINSTALLING / RE-INSTALLING ADASTRA
  31. ------------------------------------
  32. Adastra may be uninstalled at any time simply by opening
  33. Control Panel from the Settings entry in your Start Menu, and
  34. double- clicking on the item Add/Remove Programs. You will be
  35. shown a list of programs currently installed on your system,
  36. from which you should select the item 'Adastra 2000' for
  37. automatic removal.

  39. The complete Adastra package contains a number of text
  40. files, all designed to help you get started with the minimum
  41. of fuss. Have a browse through any item with the .TXT or .RTF
  42. extension if you've the time. Some of these will necessitate
  43. the selection of |Word Wrap| in Notepad or whichever text
  44. editor you elect to view them in.

  46. POSSIBLE RE-INSTALLATION PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTION
  47. ----------------------------------------------------
  48. Should you receive the runtime error message 'Star Catalog not found. Aborting' after re-installation over an older version of Adastra, please try the following measures before getting in touch with our support department:

  50. 1) Delete all SHORTCUTS to Adastra which were not created by the install routine. In other words, remove those which you created yourself on the Desktop etc.
  51.  
  52. 2) If runtime problems persist, go to your Windows folder and move/delete the file Adastra(.ini)
  53.  
  54. 3) Finally, if you still encounter serious problems, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
