  1. SUPPLEMENTAL END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR
  2. MICROSOFT SOFTWARE ("Supplemental EULA")
  3.  
  4. IMPORTANT:  READ CAREFULLY - The Microsoft
  5. operating system components accompanying this Supplemental EULA,
  6. including any "online" or electronic documentation ("OS
  7. Components") are subject to the terms and conditions of the
  8. agreement under which you have licensed the applicable Microsoft
  9. operating system product described below (each an "End User
  10. License Agreement" or "EULA") and the terms and conditions of
  11. this Supplemental EULA.  Once you install the OS Components, your
  12. system security will be upgraded.  Any system at a standard
  13. encryption level (56 bit) will be moved to a high encryption
  14. level (128 bit) in order to offer better online and local
  15. security, and bring your system on par with the new worldwide
  16. standard of 128 bit encryption.  Once this upgrade is made you
  17. will not be able to return to 56 bit encryption on your system if
  18. you uninstall the OS Components.
  19. BY INSTALLING, COPYING, DOWNLOADING,
  20. ACCESSING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE OS
  21. COMPONENTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE
  22. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPLICABLE
  23. OPERATING SYSTEM PRODUCT EULA AND THIS
  24. SUPPLEMENTAL EULA.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO
  25. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT
  26. INSTALL, COPY, DOWNLOAD, ACCESS, OR USE THE
  27. OS COMPONENTS.

  29. NOTE:  IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALIDLY LICENSED
  30. COPY OF MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL,
  31. MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2000 SERVER, OR MICROSOFT
  32. WINDOWS 2000 ADVANCED SERVER, WINDOWS 2000
  33. WITH SERVER APPLIANCE KIT, OR MICROSOFT
  34. WINDOWS 2000 DATACENTER SERVER (each an "OS
  35. Product"), YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL,
  36. COPY, DOWNLOAD, ACCESS, OR OTHERWISE USE THE
  37. OS COMPONENTS AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS UNDER
  38. THIS SUPPLEMENTAL EULA.

  40. Capitalized terms used in this Supplemental EULA and not
  41. otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them
  42. in the applicable OS Product EULA.
  43.  
  44. General.  The OS Components are provided to you solely to update,
  45. supplement, or replace existing functionality of the applicable
  46. OS Product, and upon installation the OS Components become a part
  47. of the OS Product.  You are hereby granted a license to use the
  48. OS Components under the terms and conditions of the OS Product
  49. EULA for the applicable OS Product (which are hereby incorporated
  50. by reference) and the terms and conditions set forth in this
  51. Supplemental EULA, provided that you comply with all such terms
  52. and conditions.  To the extent that there is a conflict among any
  53. of these terms and conditions applicable to the OS Components,
  54. the terms and conditions in this Supplemental EULA shall take
  55. precedence.
  56.  
  57. Additional Rights and Limitations.  
  58.  
  59. * If you have multiple validly licensed copies of the OS Product,
  60. you may reproduce, install and use one copy of the OS Components
  61. on all of your computers running validly licensed copies of the
  62. OS Product provided that you use such additional copies of the OS
  63. Components in accordance with the terms and conditions above.  
  64.  
  65. * Unless you acquired the OS Components on external media, you
  66. may make a single copy of the OS Components solely for archival
  67. purposes or reinstallation of the OS Components on the same
  68. computer as the OS Components were previously installed. 
  69. Microsoft Corporation, its subsidiaries and/or suppliers retain
  70. all right, title and interest in and to the OS Components.  All
  71. rights not expressly granted are reserved by Microsoft
  72. Corporation, its subsidiaries and/or suppliers.

  74. THE LIMITED WARRANTY (IF ANY) INCLUDED IN THE
  75. APPLICABLE OS PRODUCT EULA APPLIES TO THE OS
  76. COMPONENTS PROVIDED THE OS COMPONENTS HAVE
  77. BEEN LICENSED BY YOU WITHIN THE TERM OF THE
  78. LIMITED WARRANTY IN THE APPLICABLE OS PRODUCT
  79. EULA.  THIS SUPPLEMENTAL EULA DOES NOT EXTEND
  80. THE TIME PERIOD FOR WHICH THE LIMITED
  81. WARRANTY IS PROVIDED.
