CDex is a freeware application that records audio tracks from a CD-ROM and saves them to a disk as regular WAV files. This program features an MP3 decoder (MPEG1/2/3-based) and a new LAME encoder. In addition, you can now avoid the "double dot" when converting MP3 files back to WAV files. This new beta version adds extra support for an external encoder, a number of bug fixes, and other improvements.
