  3. Welcome To GamesBasic..
  4.  
  5. If you are an existing user please read the section before as you
  6. must uninstall GamesBasic first.

  8. New Users

  11. You are about to install the Alpha version of GamesBasic. 
  12. GamesBasic is a powerful high-speed computer language, designed
  13. to allow the faster (rapid) development of amazing games, 
  14. demos and applications. 
  15.  
  16. GamesBasic is still in the 'alpha' stage of development, meaning
  17. that it is not complete (this goes for all aspects of the program)
  18. and will have numerous bugs.
  19.  
  20. Please note : GamesBasic uses DirectX 5 and above. This must be 
  21. installed before GamesBasic will work, also due to the nature of
  22. DirectX you should not be running any mission critical programs or
  23. programs with non-saved data in them. If DirectX crashes (as it
  24. does) then you may lose any information - always backup!

  30. Existing Users
  31. --------------

  33. You must uninstall GamesBasic before you can run install. If you do
  34. not you will have 2 GamesBasic and only 1 will uninstall :) 
  35.  
  36. Please goto Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Install/UnInstall
  37. Tab and select 'GamesBasic' (or similar name - ie. GamesBasic V0.xx.xx) 
  38. click Add/Remove. Click YES to remove, thanks it.
