PrcView is a freeware process viewer utility that shows comprehensive information about running processes. This information includes such details as the creation time, version and full path for each DLL used by a selected process, a list of all threads, memory blocks and heaps. PrcVIew also allows you to kill and attach a debugger to a selected process. PrcView runs on both Windows 95/98 and Windows NT platforms and includes Windows and command-line version of the program.
No special installation is required on Windows 95/98. Simply create a new, empty folder and place the files PRCVIEW.EXE and PRCVIEW.HLP there. For Windows NT4 you will also need a "PSAPI.DLL" which is usually located in the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. Please read PSAPI.TXT to get information about what is PSAPI and where to get it if this file is missing.
