The program consists of five integrated tools.
The Design Manager lets you create and open projects, access any of the other tools, and generate a Bill Of Materials (BOM).
The Schematic/Symbol Editor offers a large library of symbols and components. It features pinbusses, powerpins, symbol splitting, hierarchical designs, and the ability to place signals with different names into a bus.
The Library Manager lets you import and export schematic symbols to and from a library.
The Geometry Editor lets you edit using three layers, assign multiple pads to one pin number, and automatically create DIPs, SOICs, QUAD flatpacks, BGAs, PGAs, and other geometries.
The Layout Editor offers: online design rule checking; visible guides; integration with the schematic editor; the ability to highlight traces, vias, and connections; photoplotter output; and much more.
