  8. Magic Folders makes any folders (directories) you choose and all the 
  9. files in those folders completely invisible to others yet instantly 
  10. accessible to yourself.

  12. Your invisible folders and files can't be deleted, viewed, modified, or 
  13. run.  For all practical purposes they don't exist.  Use Magic Folders to 
  14. protect your finances, taxes, business and personal documents.  Not only 
  15. will others not know these files exist, they won't be able to 
  16. accidentally delete or modify them either.  With Magic Folders you can 
  17. turn over your computer to your children or your co-workers without 
  18. worrying if they'll delete, modify or view important files.

  20. Yet, just enter your password and you'll instantly have complete and 
  21. normal access to all your folders and the files within.  There's no need 
  22. to un-hide each file or folder individually.  And Magic Folders is 
  23. totally transparent.  No one need know your invisible folders/files even 
  24. exist.

  26. If you wish, you can establish 5 different accounts so everyone using 
  27. your computer can create their own invisible folders that only they have 
  28. access to.

  30. If you share your computer you need Magic Folders.  Use it to protect

  40. Windows 3.1 is available at http://pc-magic.com/mfd3.zip  Magic Folders 
  41. does not work in Windows NT.

  43. You will need a blank floppy disk handy for use during installation.

  45. Run MAGIC.EXE to install Magic Folders.
