  24. Quick View Plus is an enhanced version of Quick View, the file viewing, printing and finding utility that is included with Windows.

It lets you view any of over 200 types of file formats by simply right-clicking on a file and choosing Quick View Plus from the context menu. You can view, copy and print almost any word processing document or text file format including HTML, almost any spreadsheet or database format, all popular bitmapped graphics formats (including GIF and JPEG), many presentation formats including Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, CorelDraw, AutoCAD DXF, Unix Compress, Unix TAR, and ZIP formats.

You can use Quick View as a helper application for almost any Web browser, as an ActiveX Document Server in Internet Explorer, or as a plug-in with Netscape Navigator. You can also "pin" Quick View Plus to Windows Explorer so that when files are always displayed in a windows to the right of Explorer.

  29. Features of Quick View include: drag and drop support, the ability to easily view multiple files, and the ability to cut and crop graphics files. OLE support lets you embed files in your applications and view them by simply double-clicking.

This newest release offers a quick compress feature which zips files, making other compression programs unnecessary and support for several new formats. E-mail attachments can be automatically compressed. Several additional file formats are supported, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Office 2000, FlashPic, CorelDraw 6 through 8, AudoCAD DXF, and more.
