Putty is a telnet client that uses both SSH and regular telnet connections. This program runs as an executable application and doesn't install onto your system.
With tons of options to choose from, this telnet client isn't that far off from a five cow program. Watch for this one in the future, it might be wise to pick it up now - this author has done his homework and transform telnet into something usable.
