Babylon Translator & Converter (All Languages) Lite is a quick multi-language translator and dictionary, as well as a currency, time zone, and metric converter.
Babylon runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the windows taskbar, allowing you to highlight any word in the application you are currently using to get an instant and accurate definition and translation.
The program can help you translate any word or phrase between the following languages: Chinese (traditional and simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
It includes a text-to-speech add-on feature, letting you hear the English pronunciation of the word or phrase you are translating.
Every time you use Babylon Translator & Converter while connected to the Internet, it determines if you have the latest version of its ever-growing database, and enables you to search for that term on one of numerous search engines and online encyclopedias.
You can also connect to the program's Web site to suggest a new word to be added to the database, to send greeting cards, or to participate in a forum.
Please note that this is an Internet version of the program. In order to use it offline, you need to download a dictionary file.
