  16. *** 1) Software & Hardware Requirements ***
  17. Processor:        Intel 80486, 40MHz or better
  18. RAM:              At least 8 Mb
  19. Hard disk:        4 Mb
  20. MS Windows:       version 95 or NT
  21. Monitor:          SGVA

  23. *** 2) Installation ***
  24. 2.1 Unzip the file adxcal30.zip to some temporary directory
  25. such as c:\temp. The trial version of window zip/unzip utility 
  26. can be downloaded free at www.winzip.com.   
  27. 2.2 Run SETUP.EXE in disk1 directory and follow the instructions.

  29. To uninstall Advantix Calculator, simply follow the standard
  30. Windows 95/NT uninstall procedure.

  32. *** 3) Bug Reports ***
  33.  
  34. Problem: For users outside USA:
  35. ===============================
  36. For those countries using comma "," to represent a decimal point,
  37. instead of a period "." (i.e., "2,345" instead of "2.345"), 
  38. Advantix Calculator can not perform calculation correctly.    
  39.  
  40. Solution:
  41. =========
  42. We have recently fixed this problem. However, the user still need 
  43. to specify a decimal point using "." symbol (instead of ","). 
  44. This requirement is necessary because Advantix is using "," symbol 
  45. to separate function arguments, for example, F(1.2,2.31).

  47. *** 4) Advantix Calculator Features ***
  48. Advantix Calculator is an advanced scientific and graphical calculator that evaluates
  49. mathematical expressions containing real and complex numbers, polynomials, rational
  50. functions, matrices, and vectors. It works with binary, octal, and hexadecimal numbers. It
  51. does Boolean algebra and mathematical logics. It also graphs user-defined functions in 2D,
  52. 3D, and polar coordinates. It provides custom interfaces where users can perform numerical
  53. and symbolic differentiation and integration on user-defined functions. It provides an easy
  54. interface to a number of common integration formulae where users can input required formula
  55. parameters and obtain instant integration result. It also solves linear and nonlinear
  56. equations and evaluates user-defined formulae and conversion formulae.
