K-Jofol 2000 is a full-featured audio file and CD player with a unique user interface.
K-Jofol 2000 can play MP3, VQF, WAV and AAC files, as well as CD audio tracks. It supports streaming media and it comes equipped with a playlist editor, a spectrum analyzer, and an oscilloscope. It offers fast MP3 decoding (with NAD Equalization), skin support, file queuing, support for WinAmp plug-ins, support for WinAmp DSP, DirectSound support, and mIRC support.
K-Jofol also offers volume smoothing, pitch manipulation, and it has a unique "aural excitation" mode that boosts high frequencies.
This newest release offers improvements in the user interface. Winamp DSP, Output and Input plugins are now supported, in addition to DirectSound. Other new features include: WAV file support, file queuing, improved memory usage, and much more.
Looking for something that looks cool like Sonique and plays as good as WinAmp? Here it isà K-J÷fol is here. This is early version of the program but still it comes out as one of the best mp3 players around. The thing a like about this program is its great, wonderful (etc.) interface. It just looks great and it supports skins too. Player has many features but one I like the most are: great and easy to use equalizers and downsampling. What is downsampling? When you have slower PC (like I do), there is no way you can play some mp3 file at its original sound quality (>128kbs) and do something else. It just doesnÆt work. ThatÆs why better players have downsampling, so everybody can listenà It works beautifully on P133 with 1/2 or 1/4 downsampling, and on PII 350 it works great as it is. Other than that, program has nice docking mode and support for plugins. Another thing that I mentioned before are: skins! It does support them and they make it the best look application that I have ever seen. They usually have little bit less than 200 kb but they look great. Just check out the screenshot. First one is original player while 2nd one is Illusion Skin. It just doesnÆt get better than this. Other than that, program takes little of processors usage (at pair with WinAmp), and it still has few bugs but nothing major. Be sure to try this one out. You will be happy!
-> go to customize.org for skins.
tip: to change skins just press the "R" key or use the context menu (Right-Click on K-J÷fol and select "Change Resource File ...")!
