TransMac (32-bit) lets you read, write, and format Macintosh high density diskettes, CD-ROMs and any type of SCSI drive.
Because it handles SCSI devices, TransMac supports hard drives, optical drives, SyQuest drives, Benoulli drives, ZIP drives, and more. It handles long file names and it lets you delete and copy entire directory trees. Disks can be searched by file extension, creator, and file type. When copying or moving files you have the options of keeping the original file dates or updating them to the system dates. Multisession CDs are supported.
This newest release offers an enhanced user interface with a resizable main window.
Limitations in downloadable version:
The shareware version of TransMac can copy files 1.4 Meg and smaller. Formatting and folder operations are disabled.
