  55. are accessed directly using native code instead of going through Java.
  56. Unicode filenames will be preserved exactly. Removable drives are handled
  57. more cleanly, the "insert media" dialog no longer appears.

  59. Added support for Microsoft Windows NT "Services for Macintosh" volumes.
  60. A Macintosh volume created with "Services for Macintosh" can be mounted
  61. with the "Get From -> NTFS Macintosh Volume" menu command. Select the
  62. root directory of the volume and it will be added to the source list. All
  63. filenames and Macintosh attributes will be preserved.

  68. Opening a ZIP archive created with AUXZip will present the files and
  69. directories as if on a Macintosh. The ".resource" and ".finderinfo"
  70. directories are no longer visible and do not need to be added to the

  122. not take effect unless Enter was typed before the OK button was clicked. Now

  127. FTP does not require the "MODE" or "STRU" commands to be available. Problems
  128. have occurred with some FTP servers not recognizing these commands.

  135. Fixed: Can now drop files anywhere in the right side of the "Files on CD"

  138. Fixed: Exclusion/Inclusion problem with files such as "b" and "b123".
  139. Excluding both files and then including "b123" would also include "b". This
  140. is due to the way directories are implicitly included when a file inside
  141. them is explicitly included.

  143. Fixed: Dropping of drive onto the "Files on CD" window will add contents of
  144. drive to layout. Previous behavior was to create a directory with the drive
  145. name in the layout. Files added to the drive will be updated when the layout
  146. is opened, the image is created or the refresh command is used.

  148. Increased allowed volume name length from 16 characters to 32 characters.
  149. ISO/RockRidge allows 32 characters, Joliet (Windows) 16 characters and
  150. HFS (Macintosh) 27 characters. The volume name will be truncated accordingly
  151. for each platform.

  153. Added file date selection. Files may preserve their date (default) or use the
  154. date when the CD was created.

  156. Added support for MacBinary III. Added ".MacBin" (MacBinary) and
  157. ".BinHex" (BinHex) extensions to default MacBinary and BinHex decoding.
  158. Removed 8MB MacBinary fork length restriction. According to MacBinary
  159. specification, the data or resource fork length cannot be or exceed 8MB. This
  160. limitation is unreasonable and not enforced with MacBinary archivers and has
  161. therefore been removed.

  163. Added file ordering options in "General" tab. These affect where the file data
  164. is placed on the CD, not the directory sorting. Access times may be improved
  165. for certain content if small files are recorded first or the most recent files
  166. are recorded first.

  168. Added symbolic link options to RockRidge. Available from the RockRidge
  169. "Options" button in the "Platform" tab. "Copy Destination" controls the action
  170. taken for links whose destination is not included on the CD. By default the
  171. symbolic link is made into a hard link and the information is copied onto the
  172. CD. Turning this option off will preserve the link. "Create links to duplicate
  173. files" controls what happens when CDEveryWhere detects that a file occurs more
  174. than once on the CD. By default a symbolic link is made to conserve disk space
  175. if the CD were copied onto a hard drive. Turning this option off will produce
  176. all hard links to the same data on the CD, no extra space is used for the
  177. duplicate file.

  202. Improved support for RockRidge in several areas. All mode bits are preserved,
  203. including setuid, setgid, lock, and sticky. Added support for block and
  204. character special files, these are now written to the image as special files
  205. with correct major and minor numbers. FTP will check for /etc/passwd and
  206. /etc/group files to better preserve user and group ids.

  277. slash (/), and pound sign (%) characters. The MRJ uses '/' as the file
  278. separator and this character was not previously encoded. Therefore, the MRJ
  279. separated filenames containing a '/'.

  281. Fixed: Some MacBinary files are not processed because byte 74 is not zero.
  282. According to the MacBinary II spec, bytes 74 and 82 should be zero. This check
  283. has been removed to process certain archives that do not adhere to the spec.

  287. Macintosh volumes will not mount under certain conditions. This is based on
  288. the size of the CD and the allocation block size chosen for the HFS volume.
  289. The node count for the extents file was not consistent with the extent file
  290. size causing MacOS to reject the image.

  292. Truncated filenames were not renamed correctly if more than two had the same
  293. filename.

  295. Macintosh volume would not accept "/" in a directory or file name. This is
  296. a legal character and is now allowed.

  299. specified by ISO9660:1988, where they should only allow "d" characters.
