  4. Welcome to NoteTab Light!
  5. The ultimate free Notepad replacement and a capable HTML editor.

  7. If you are reading this file from your new NoteTab program, open the file
  8. Readme.otl to quickly discover some of its most original features. If you are
  9. not familiar with technical terms, you will find help by viewing the
  10. Glossary.otl file. See the WhatsNew.txt file for information on the most recent
  11. changes made to the program. Tip: put the cursor on any of these file names and
  12. hit the F7 function key to open it immediately.

  29. NoteTab Light is the ultimate free Notepad replacement and a capable HTML
  30. editor. A slimmer version of the award-winning NoteTab Pro, this slick
  31. application makes text editing a breeze. Move quickly around a stack of large
  32. files with a simple tabbed interface. Format your text to your heart's content.
  33. Write with the font of your choice, fixed-width or proportional.

  35. If you need to cut and paste chunks from a pile of files, forget the Clipboard:
  36. you can set up a Paste Board file to save text clips automatically. Strip HTML

  73. ---------------
  74. You can install this release over a previous copy if you want to keep all your
  75. settings. Just extract the Setup.exe file from the .zip package and execute it.

  77. How to Uninstall
  78. ................
  79. You can uninstall NoteTab by using the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs
  80. dialog box or the Uninstall NoteTab icon in the Start menu. Note that this will
  81. delete your program settings. If you want to save your settings, you should
  82. make a copy of the .ini file prior to uninstalling.

  84. IMPORTANT - WINDOWS NT USERS: If NoteTab was installed with Administrative
  85. privileges, you should then also uninstall NoteTab under these conditions.
  86. Otherwise, NoteTab might not be completely removed from your system.

  140. NoteTab Light, you are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the NoteTab
  141. Light package as you wish; give exact copies of the original NoteTab Light
  142. package to anyone; and distribute the NoteTab Light package in its unmodified
  143. form via electronic means (Internet, BBS's, Shareware distribution libraries,
  144. CD-ROMs, etc.). You may charge a distribution fee for the package, but you must

  168. All versions of NoteTab are Year 2000 compliant (Y2K). These products are
  169. designed to be used prior to, during, and after calendar year 2000 A.D., and
  170. during each such time period will accurately receive, provide, and process
  171. data/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and
  172. sequencing) from, into and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries,
  173. including the years 1999 and 2000, and leap year calculations, and will not
  174. malfunction, cease to function, or provide invalid or incorrect results as a
  175. result of data/time data, to the extent that other information technology used
  176. in combination with NoteTab properly exchanges data/time data with it.
