Explorer Extensions adds a right-click menu to Windows Explorer that lets you select files for splitting, joining, encoding, decoding, attribute changing, and more.
The "Split" function lets you divide a large file into smaller ones for storage on floppy disks. "Concatenate", the reverse of Split, lets you rejoin the sections and reconstruct the original file.
The "Encode" function lets you translate binary files into a format suitable for Internet e-mail attachments. Encode supports UUENCODE, Base64 (Mime), BinHex (Mac), and XXENCODE formats. The "Decode" function automatically detects UUENCODE, Base64 (Mime), BinHex (Mac), XXENCODE, quote printable, 7-bit unencoded, and plain text.
The "Touch" function lets you change the time, date, and attributes of one or more files directly from Explorer.
The "File Management" functions allow you to rename, copy, move, and delete files, with extras such as complex renaming using wild cards, numbering files, and changing the case of file names.
This newest release adds file management functions (rename, copy, move, delete) with extras such as complex renaming using wild cards, numbering files, and changing the case of file names.
