CyberKit is a set of eleven essential Internet utilities.
The toolbox includes Ping, TraceRoute, WhoIs, Finger, Quote of the Day, Name Server LookUp, Time Synchronizer, DBScanner, NetScanner, Check for New Mail and Keep Alive. Unlike some of their Unix counterparts, all utilities can be accessed from a graphical interface.
This newest version comes with a Netscanner with the following features: As input you can use a range of IP addresses or a text file containing a list of addresses. You can ping this range and return the addresses that respond. Optionally, you can let CyberKit create a hosts file with the results. You can resolve this range and return the addresses known by the DNS server. The DNS server can be set to any valid DNS server. Optionally, you can let CyberKit create a hosts file with the results.
