  1. Installation from filesystem on a hard disk partition that's not

  4. The partition should contain the Packages.gz file from each
  5. distribution area being installed (usually stable, contrib and
  6. non-free) as well as the corresponding binary/*/*.deb files.

  8. The easiest way to get this is to make a (partial) copy of the
  9. distribution site's directory hierarchy, if possible.
