  4. 1) Introduction
  5. -----------------------
  6.   ArjFolder is a freeware, so you can use it and distribute 
  7. without pay a license.
  8.  
  9.   ArjFolder has been tested in all versions of Windows 95,
  10.  98, NT 4.0 and NT 2000 (Beta 3). This  test  has  been 
  11. performed with ARJ 2.60x  and  ARJ 3.03. copyright to 
  12. 1990-99 ARJ Software, Robert and Susan Jung. ARJ is 
  13. not include in this package but if you want to have the full
  14. functionality of ArjFolder you can download it at :

  17.   This software has been checked against all known 
  18. viruses at this day. The only guarantee you get with 
  19. this version of ArjFolder, either expressed or implied, is
  20.  that ArjFolder will take  up  a certain number of bytes
  21. on a hard disk drive. The integrity of the data on your
  22. hard  disk  is  your responsibility, not mine. However,
  23. the functionality of this program has been tested to the 
  24. best of my ability, I can take no responsibility for the 
  25. loss or damage of your data, although all reasonable 
  26. precautions have been taken to insure the stability and 
  27. safety of this program.

  30. 2) Fonctionnement
  31. -----------------------------
  32.   This software is  based  on the  namespace and shell 
  33. extension  of all the version of Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0
  34. and NT 2000. You can make, read, uncompress ZIP and
  35. ARJ files. ArjFolder supports long filenames, file protection
  36. and multi-volumes for ARJ,  RAR and  ACE files. ArjFolder
  37. also uncompress GZip, TGZ, TAR, CAB, RAR, ACE and 
  38. Unix Compress (.Z) archive.

  40.   The two ways to extract are the pop-up menu and the
  41. Drag and Drop.  Because  ArjFolder  is an extension of 
  42. Window Explorer the functionality of Drag and Drop are 
  43. enhanced  if  you  have  installed  the  last  version  of 
  44. Windows (IE  4.0  and  more with  Active  Desktop  or 
  45. Windows 98)

  47. 3) Uninstalling ArjFolder 
  48. ------------------------------------
  49.   * Open the control panel. On the Start Menu, choose 
  50. Settings->Control Panel. 
  51.   * Open "Add/Remove Programs". Find the Control Panel 
  52. called Add/Remove Programs and double-click it. 
  53.   * Select ArjFolder and click the button marked 
  54. "Add/Remove".
