  1. This is the README file for Whisper 32, version 1.12.

  3. Whisper 32 is a FREE Password Manager for Windows 95 and Windows NT.
  4.  
  5. Here is a short summary of its features:

  7. *   Store all of your passwords in one file.
  8. *   The password files are encrypted using a robust private-key
  9.     encryption algorithm.
  10. *   Built-in password generator.
  11. *   Use the Windows clipboard to transfer passwords.
  12. *   Automatically backs up password files each time they are saved.
  13. *   32-bit only.
  14.  
  15. Whisper 32 is FREEWARE. All copyrights are retained by the author,
  16. Shaun Ivory.
  17.  
  18. Whisper 32 is freely redistributable, however the cost of providing the
  19. software must be limited to a small duplication and packaging fee.

  24. Whisper 32 is freeware and is provided as-is. Please read the license
  25. which can be found in the online help or in the "Help|About..." dialog
  26. box. I will answer as many questions as I can. Before you ask a

  44.  
  45. To install Whisper 32, execute the SETUP.EXE program contained in this
  46. .ZIP archive. SETUP.EXE is a self-extracting installer.
  47.  
  48. To run Whisper 32, double-click on the icon created by the installer.
  49.  
  50. All program documentation is contained in the WinHelp file shipped with
  51. Whisper 32.
