  25. F-PROT can be loaded as a memory-resident DOS protection program, or it can be run as a scheduled or on-demand virus scanner. Features include: accurate virus identification; command-line or menu-driven operation; disinfection or deletion of infected files; and a unique "heuristic" search method which detects new viruses. It supports a wide range of viruses including Microsoft Word-specific prank macros.
