The purpose of Address Manager is a FREEWARE program to give the user a easy to use place to put their addresses and phone numbers. The unique thing is that it accesses the name and phone numbers before the street address. Please distribute it FREELY. To contact the author use address below.
Unzip to a temporary directory. Than run the setup.exe from disk one of that directory. Than when it ask for disk 2 just direct it to that directory. This program is made for diskettes. This readme file is in the \Address directory.
From the front page click the "Add new Address" button and it will bring you to the Add and Edit window. Follow these steps:
1) Click on the "Insert record" button in the navagational bar
2) Make sure that you insert the Person_id as: FIRST SEVEN LETTERS OF THE LAST NAME THAN A #1. IF BY CHANCE THAT IS ALREADY USED CHANGE THE 1 TO A 2 and or so on.
3) When finished YOU MUST PUSH THE "POST EDIT" button on the navagational bar.
From the front page click on the "Find Address" button. From there click on the tab letter for the last name of the person you are looking for. From there just scroll till you find the name you are looking for.
First of all this is the first of many programs to come. This is a full version. I hope you can use it as much as I am.
