  125. Follow these steps to install KB-Master:

  127. - Go to the folder where you downloaded KB-Master and run the executable
  128.   (KBM25.EXE or KBM25TE.EXE)
  129. - Follow the installation wizard prompts to complete the installation
  130. - Proceed as follows...

  132. ADMINISTRATOR(S)
  133. - Start the Administrator Assistant.
  134. - Select the Database Administration option. Then click "Create New Datab
  135. ase".
  136. - Press the "Launch Database Wizard" button.
  137. - Follow the wizard steps to create your database and begin using KB-Mast
  138. er
  139. - Once you make this database accessible for your users, notify them of t
  140. he database location.

  215. installed (including the directory contents).

  229.   greater control over databases.
  230. - Full Preview: Now articles can be viewed without needing
  231.   to open the Article Editor. All available processing

  408. ment between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Altaris Sy
  409. stems  for the Altaris Systems software product identified above, which i
  410. ncludes computer software and may include associated media, printed mater
  411. ials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By i
  412. nstalling, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to
  413.  be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of 
  414.  this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT; you may, however,
  415.  return it to your place of purchase for a full refund.

  443. e also entitled to make a corresponding number of secondary  copies for p
  444. ortable computer use as specified above.

  446. 2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.

  448. - Academic Edition Software. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is identified as "Ac
  449. ademic Edition" or "AE," you must be a "Qualified Educational User" to us
  450. e the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are not a Qualified Educational User, you 
  451. have no rights under this EULA. To determine whether you are a Qualified 
  452. Educational User, please contact the Altaris Systems Sales Information Ce
  453. nter/2608 Abbott Road Suite E2, Midland MI 48642 USA or the Altaris Syste
  454. ms subsidiary serving your country.

  456. - Not for Resale Software. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled "Not for Re
  457. sale" or "NFR," then, notwithstanding other sections of this EULA, you ma
  458. y not resell, or otherwise transfer for value, the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  460. - Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly. You
  461.  may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  462. , except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted
  463.  by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
  464.  
  465. - Separation of Components. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single 
  466. product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on more than on
  467. e computer.

  469. - Rental. You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  471. - Support Services. Altaris Systems may provide you with support services
  472.  related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services"). Use of Support Ser
  473. vices is governed by the Altaris Systems policies and programs described 
  474. in the user manual, in "online" documentation, and/or in other Altaris Sy
  475. stems-provided materials. Any supplemental software code provided to you 
  476. as part of the Support Services shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE 
  477. PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA. With respec
  478. t to technical information you provide to Altaris Systems as part of the 
  479. Support Services, Altaris Systems may use such information for its busine
  480. ss purposes, including for product support and development. Altaris Syste
  481. ms will not utilize such technical information in a form that personally 
  482. identifies you.

  484. - Software Transfer. You may permanently transfer all of your rights unde
  485. r this EULA, provided you retain no copies, you transfer all of the SOFTW
  486. ARE PRODUCT (including all component parts, the media and printed materia
  487. ls, any upgrades, this EULA, and, if applicable, the Certificate of Authe
  488. nticity), and the recipient agrees to the terms of this EULA. If the SOFT
  489. WARE PRODUCT is an upgrade, any transfer must include all prior versions 
  490. of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  492. - Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Altaris Systems may
  493.  terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions 
  494. of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE 
  495. PRODUCT and all of its component parts.

  497. 3. UPGRADES. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled as an upgrade, you must b
  498. e properly licensed to use a product identified by Altaris Systems as bei
  499. ng eligible for the upgrade in order to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. A SOFTW
  500. ARE PRODUCT labeled as an upgrade replaces and/or supplements the product
  501.  that formed the basis for your eligibility for the upgrade.  You may use
  502.  the resulting upgraded product only in accordance with the terms of this
  503.  EULA. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an upgrade of a component of a package 
  504. of software programs that you licensed as a single product, the SOFTWARE 
  505. PRODUCT may be used and transferred only as part of that single product p
  506. ackage and may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

  508. 4. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (in
  509. cluding but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, au
  510. dio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), 
  511. the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUC
  512. T are owned by Altaris Systems or its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is 
  513. protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefor
  514. e, you must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted materia
  515. l except that you may install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer p
  516. rovided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You
  517.  may not copy the printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  519. 5. DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. You may receive the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in more than
  520.  one medium. Regardless of the type or size of medium you receive, you ma
  521. y use only one medium that is appropriate for your single computer. You m
  522. ay not use or install the other medium on another computer. You may not l
  523. oan, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the other medium to another user,
  524.  except as part of the permanent transfer (as provided above) of the SOFT
  525. WARE PRODUCT.

  527. 6. BACKUP COPY. After installation of one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT pu
  528. rsuant to this EULA, you may keep the original media on which the SOFTWAR
  529. E PRODUCT was provided by Altaris Systems solely for backup or archival p
  530. urposes. If the original media is required to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on
  531.  the COMPUTER, you may make one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT solely for b
  532. ackup or archival purposes. Except as expressly provided in this EULA, yo
  533. u may not otherwise make copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or the printed ma
  534. terials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  536. 7. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and documentat
  537. ion are provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or disclosure 
  538. by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph
  539.  (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause 
  540. at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial C
  541. omputer Software-Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable. Ma

  548. e SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you will not export or re-export it, directly or indi
  549. rectly, to any countries that are subject to U.S.A. export restrictions. 
  550.  You further acknowledge that the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may include technical 
  551. data subject to export and re-export restrictions imposed by U.S.A. law.
