Welcome to SiteAid's README.TXT file.
----SiteAid System requirements----
SiteAid System requirements are as follows:
-386DX or higher running Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0 disk operating system
-8 MB of memory recommended
-3.0 MB available disk space for installation
-879 kb available disk space for program files
----Installing / Uninstalling SiteAid----
SiteAid is normally distributed in SiteAid.zip. If you're reading this, you
must have figured out how to unzip it.
To install SiteAid:
1.) Unzip SiteAid.zip into a temporary folder.
2.) In Windows Explorer, Double click on Setup.exe.
-or-
Select Start menu, choose RUN and browse to the file Setup.exe.
This will begin the installation routine. You may select an alternate location
to install SiteAid during this routine.
To uninstall SiteAid:
In the rare case you don't like SiteAid, and you want to remove it
from your computer entirely, this is how you go about it:
1.) Open the Control Panel.
2.) Launch Add/Remove Programs.
3.) Select SiteAid.
4.) Press the Add/Remove button.

If you have problems loading SiteAid, please feel free to contact us at

SiteAid has included Helps Files that are accessible from the site shown above.
We also have functionality that will allow the user to download our help files
from the Internet and be used in conjunction with the program. Please visit
our online site for more information.
If you are just learning HTML, or would like some help increasing your overall
knowledge of HTML, we have provided the following package. It is a good
reference for the experienced HTML author as well as an excellent tool for the
beginner.

----SiteAid Distribution and Registration----
SiteAid is Freeware. No cost... Please do tell your friends about SiteAid,
and feel free to distribute the zip file that you downloaded from the Internet.
Freeware of Shareware CD-Rom inclusion is encouraged, as long as the software
will not be sold, and the zip file is left in its original state! Profit from
the sales of the carrier media (CD) and packaging is acceptable, but at no time
should SiteAid software be advertised as "for sale".
We do ask that individuals register SiteAid. This can be accomplished by
visiting our online site at:
http://www.siteaid.com/
If you cannot reach our web site, you also may alternatively register SiteAid
by simply sending an e-mail to register@siteaid.com, asking to be registered
and telling us your first and last name and where you found SiteAid. You can
expect a response within 48 hours.
In return for registering SiteAid, we will send a password to eliminate the
reminder screen as you exit the program, and will include your name in a list
of registered SiteAid users who will be eligible for a sizeable discount on any
future Shareware versions of SiteAid. Discounts will only be available to
users of record before the release of the first shareware version of SiteAid.

The SiteAid End User Licensing Agreement can be found by installing the
software and running the program. You will be requested to view and accept the
terms of this agreement. After installation, you may review the license
agreement, that you agreed to, at anytime by simply viewing the file
license.txt. It will be installed into the directory where SiteAid was located.
