Accessible from a taskbar System Tray menu, this rich toolchest includes a wide variety of stand-alone Internet utilities, including: a finger client, a finger server, an FTP client, an HTTP browser, a ping utility, a trace route tool, an SMTP client (for sending e-mail), a telnet client, a time client (for setting your PC clock), a whois client, a current connections lister, a DNS scanner, an HTTP download manager, an NSLookup utility, an e-mail spam remover, an e-mail checker, a port info database, a port scanner, a site checker which checks to see if your favorite sites have been updated, a password generator, a file encoding/decoding utility, a mail checking utility, an identD server, a utility that keeps your ISP connection from being dropped, a tool to copy your IP address to the Clipboard, and a detector that alerts you if someone is portscanning you.
Also included with Genius is: a password manager, a jot-it notes manager, an address book (that can hold ICQ addresses), a to-do list, a file searching tool, an MSNBC News client, a port watcher, a weather client, and a utility to clean out the "Documents" folder on the Start Menu.
