  14. Description         :
  15. GpBench/CD (previously called cdBench32)  is CD-ROM benchmarking 
  16. program, designed for use in 32-bit Windows (e.g. 95, 98, NT 4, 2000). 
  17. It will test your CD drive and show you exact performance graphs. 
  18. You can use it to test CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD drives. 
  19. It will even create a special test file, which will allow very exact 
  20. measurements. Beside performance measurement, CD 
  21. benchmarking is a useful tool if you suspect hardware malfunction or 
  22. software incompatibility.
  23. GpBench/CD is distributed as a single compressed executable and 
  24. requires no installation.

  27. - Fixed program%26documentation bug related to creation of test CD.
  28.   Documentation stated that file with name 'GpBench/CD.DAT' should be
  29.   created on the CD, which is clearly wrong, as file with such name
  30.   cannot exist. In reality, program expected file to be called 
  31.   CDBENCH32.DAT and disc to be labeled CDBENCH32.
  32.   GpBench/CD 1.0.2 now looks for file GPBNCHCD.DAT on disc labeled 
  33. GPBNCHCD.
  34. - Bug fixed: total time was displayed in AM/PM format if system locale 
  35. was
