  24. Gpbench/CD is a benchmarking utility for CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW and DVD drives.
  25. It measures and reports on media load times, transfer rates, random access times, full-stroke access times, and file copying times. You can view the data graphically, and you can have Gpbench/CD optionally test to ensure that the correct data is returned when performing read operations.

  27. You can also have Gpbench/CD create a special test file which allows for very exact measurements.

  35. The registered version can generate graphs that can be exported in WMF format, and generate transfer rate data that can be saved in comma-separated value files.
