------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
-------
FileSplit is a utility to split large files into smaller files so
that they can be easily copied to floppy disks or transferred via
e-mail. Files can be split directly from Windows Explorer by
right clicking on any file and selecting Split File.
Features:
- Easy to use interface.
- Fast 32-bit file splitting.
- Batch file generation so files can be merged without
FileSplit.
- Preserves all file information including file time, date, and
attributes.
- Calculates CRC signature to detect file corruption when
merging files.
- Split multiple files in one operation.
What's New For 2.0
------------------
- FileSplit is now advertiser supported, which means that you
can use it for free, if you don't mind the advertisements. If you
do mind, then you can purchase a version without advertisements.
For more information, see below under 'Purchasing a Registered
Version'.
- Added the option of deleting files from a removable disk (floppy
or Zip) before splitting files to it.
- Files greater than 4 gigabytes can now be split and drives
larger than 4 gigabytes are also supported.
- Option to disable the shell extension was added. (Split File option on
file context-menu.)
