  2. The pallet D is locked on escape wheel tooth.
  3. The balance A is turning counter clockwise
  4. near the end of its excursion. A slight
  5. further motion puts a straain on the outer
  6. pinning of the hairspring B which through
  7. the lever unlocks the pallet D and throws
  8. pallet R to depth of incline. The escape
  9. wheel is kept from going too fast by the
  10. fly H geared to touthed wheel G fastened
  11. on escape wheel arbor. In turn the pallet
  12. D similarly gives reverse impulse to balance
  13. through lever and hairspring.
