  1. This directory contains the Red Hat Linux 6.0 Getting Started Guide in
  2. HTML format. It is spread across two subdirectories:

  4.      0 icons -- The navigation icon files used in the guide.
  5.  
  6.      0 gsg -- The Getting Started Guide.
  7.  
  8. To browse the guide, begin with the file index.htm in the gsg
  9. subdirectory.
  10.  
  11. Please note that if you install the rhl-getting-started-guide-en package
  12. when you install Red Hat Linux 6.0, this guide will also be installed on
  13. your system. That means you won't be required to use the CD-ROM to read
  14. the guide. You can use rpm (the Red Hat Package manager) to find the
  15. index.html file on your system with the following command:

  17.      rpm -ql rhl-getting-started-guide-en | grep index.html
  18.  
  19. Just point your browser at file output by this command, and you're in
  20. business.
