  22. During the dark ages these Dark Knights were often seen around the
  23. Alkmarian walls,
  24. and it is said they guard the inhabitants of Alkmaar. The dark knights
  25. of which
  26. know one truly can prove their existence are said to be part of a
  27. strongforce that
  28. was set out to aid the beseiged garrison at Alkmaar. But as the story
  29. goes the
  30. saviers came to late and found their friends murdered and the gates
  31. broken.
  32. Heavely outnumbered the knights entered the city to engage the enemy
  33. forces
  34. They were never seen alive again... nor were their enemies.

  40. The scene is modelled using 3dstudiomax and took about two weeks to
  41. complete.
  42. The knight is built from scratch and consists of 158.347 faces. It takes
  43.  
  44. about 2.39 minutes to render this frame ( 320 x 600 ). It is part of a
  45. greater animation scene starring a demon and a female warrior.
