  24. A caveman (Grog?) wakes up groggy and fuzzy-eyed and takes a 
  25. look at his daily planner.  What to do today?  (One of history's
  26. great turning points, obviously.)

  29. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

  32. This has the most realistic stereotypical caveman rock I've ever 
  33. made. :)  This whole image is basically heightfields.  The cave 
  34. drawing in the background was drawn by hand and stuck on as a 
  35. partially-transparent (transmitting) GIF image.  The stone tablet 
  36. was made by hand, as well as the rock it sits on.  Rendering took 
  37. an UNBELIEVABLY long time because of two things: The area light 
  38. and focal blur.  (I LOVE focal blur!  Too bad it obscured most of 
  39. my hard work...)
