This is some information about the led-board Roman Dolejsi
(roman@sorry.vse.cz) added support for.

LED Meter on LPT port
---------------------
Here is the circuit plane for LED meter on LPT. It's very cheap and everyone
can even do pass-through circuit to have it coexisting with printer or whatever.
The resistor values are informative only, everybody can tune them to have
intensity he/she wants (of course only if LEDs can live with that ;-)

Bulb Meter on LPT port (LED Meter compatible)
---------------------------------------------
This is a circuit plane for building meter on LPT consisting of bulbs. You
can make this one to have big lights in your room to enjoy emulation. It has
been successfully tested with 100W bulbs and even 200W is ok. Of course you
will be probably unable to drive it with hallogen lights :-)) but.. who knows..
This circuit is projected for 220V/50Hz. It consists of two separated parts,
one as the TTL driver working on LPT's 5V and the second one with the bulbs
working on 220V. Warning! It's dangerous touching the circuit behind the opto.
Please isolate it and make sure nobody can touch it... Values needn't be
strictly those drawn on the circuit. When it doesn't shine try to decrease
resistor values.
This circuitry is property of Petr Slechta (Piitr). Building of it is on your
own risk. Anyway, questions about it can be send to xslecht1@hwlab.felk.cvut.cz.
Thyristor has czech naming convention. Don't know other equivalents but the
only needed requirement is that it must be 1A capable.
