The right button is set as the Scroll Button. If the mouse buttons are swapped, the left button is assigned.
Scrolling starts after the specified Timeout period.\nTapping on the Scroll Button is equivalent to a normal click.
All parameters have been set to their default values.
This parameter controls how sensitive is the scrolling direction to your mouse movements. Setting a high sensitivity means that a tiny mouse movement is enough to change the scrolling direction. Move the mouse while watching the direction monitor to test your setting.
This parameter controls how much time Pointix waits before considering your click a scrolling command. A short timeout means that scrolling starts immediately, but on the other hand you must tap faster to obtain the normal button function. Tap the Scroll Button while watching the function monitor to test your setting.
Basic Tips: 1) Tapping on the scroll button is equivalent to clicking it normally. 2) Holding the scroll button starts scrolling the document. 3) Holding the Shift key disables the scrolling feature temporarily. 4) Holding the Control key increases the scrolling speed.
The minimum and maximum speeds can be adjusted. Pointix starts scrolling always at the minimum speed. It then accelerates until it reaches the maximum speed.
The scrolling speed can be controlled by moving the mouse along the scrolling axis (either vertical or horizontal). Moving the mouse in the direction you are scrolling increases the scrolling speed and vice versa. If you move the mouse in any direction perpendicular to the scrolling axis, then the scrolling direction changes and the process starts over again.
Pointix can simulate a heavy screen to provide a more natural touch and feel. Modify the screen's mass attibute to adjust the response to your style.
Pointix can emulate a wheel mouse by detecting circular mouse movements (called "glicks"). When Pointix is running, moving the mouse pointer describing circles on the screen in either directions is equivalent to turning the physical mouse wheel. You can set other functions to this feature.
The virtual wheel can be assigned to emulate the actual physical wheel, or other useful navigation and editing functions. Change your settings according to your needs.
