Description: NetZIP Deluxe 6.5 is a suite of three integrated components that seamlessly manage downloads and ZIP files. NetZIP Web, an Internet browser plug-in, automatically activates and begins a download when a user clicks a ZIP or EXE file. NetZIP Classic, the desktop version of NetZIP, allows users to span large ZIP files over several diskettes and has a checkout feature that extracts all program files to a temporary directory. The third component, NetZIP Folders, treats every ZIP file just like a regular folder. When you use Windows Explorer, your ZIP files will appear as a ZIP folder; double-click a folder and open up the document you want. Included in the new suite are zipping and unzipping capabilities, the ability to install software automatically from the Web browser, the ability to scan files for viruses, and a download manager. NetZIP 6.5 features Smart Download, with new pause/resume and reconnect features on all downloads. It also gives you a complete readout on elements of your download, such as time to completion, size of file, percent downloaded, and the download's path on your computer.
