Agenda 98 is a complete, all-in-one solution for managing appointments, tasks, and reminders.
Agenda 98 is divided into several modules to help organize your busy life. The modules include: Home, Tasks, Alarms, Appointments, Notes, Calendar, and News.
The Home page of the program displays all your appointments, alarms, and notes for today, as well as the tasks due today or those on which you will have to start working.
The Tasks module lets you enter tasks, and sub-tasks if needed. A task is defined by its name, importance, due date and time, description, person in charge, department, as well as an estimated time to complete the task and its current completion percentage. An alarm can be set for the task.
The Alarms module lets you schedule alarms. It supports recurring alarms (once, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly). You can choose from various actions to be performed when the alarm is due, including window popup, sound (WAV or MIDI), send e-mail (with possible attachment), or launch an application.
The Appointments module lets you schedule your days. Each appointment is defined by its name, with who, where, estimated length, a note, and its schedule (once, every hour, every day, every work day, every week, every month, every year). You can automatically add an alarm that will warn you a specified time in advance of the appointment.
The Notes module lets you jot down anything you don't want to forget. Notes can be dragged and dropped on your desktop for future reference.
The Calendar module is similar to the Home module, but you can check how busy a day will be.
The News module has an integrated Web browser that lets you surf on some popular news sites. Sites can be added, edited, and deleted at your will. This feature requires Internet Explorer 4.x to be installed on your computer.
Agenda 98 also lets you print or e-mail any task, appointment, or note. It includes System Tray support.
