  5. DataArmour is a personal backup tool, designed for PC's, replacing 
  6. or complementing the need for tape based systems.  The idea being that 
  7. you can backup locally, or to any FTP server (assuming you have 
  8. write access).

  16. UPGRADING
  17. =========
  18. If you downloaded a patch rather than a full install, please follow these instructions to
  19. perform an upgrade of DataArmour:
  20.  
  21. 1) Backup the MPW32.DLL and MPWIZARD.CFG files to a directory. Typically, you would create
  22.    a directory in the installation directory of DataArmour called 'Backup' and place those
  23.    two files there.
  24. 2) Extract the contents of DAPxxx.zip into the DataArmour installation directory,
  25.    overwritting any existing files.
  26. 3) Run DataArmour
  27.  
  28. If you encounter any problems with an upgrade, particularly if you are a registered used, then
  29. please contact the author, Neil Clayton at nclayton@ihug.co.nz

  33. UNINSTALLING
  34. ============
  35. Simply uninstall software as you normally would using Control Panel, Add/Remove software.
  36. If you were starting DataArmour 'When Windows starts', then please also remove the following
  37. key using the Registry Editor.

  39. If you had a separate configuration per user, then remove the key:
  40.     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\DataArmour
  41.  
  42. If you had one configuration for every user, remove the key:
  43.     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\DataArmour
  44.  
  45. The auto-uninstaller does not do this for you.
