  4. What is EditPlus
  5. ----------------

  7. EditPlus (formerly known as Edit++) is Internet-ready 32-bit 
  8. text editor for Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0. It is not only 
  9. a good replacement for Notepad, but it has also much more 
  10. powerful features for web-page authors and programmers.

  38. Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.0 or higher
  39. 2MB free disk space
  40. IE 3 or higher for seamless browser feature (optional)

  43. Install

  46. Extract EditPlus archive file (EPPxx.ZIP) to temporary directory, then 
  47. execute SETUP.EXE. In rare case, if you fail to complete setup, you 
  48. can skip setup and manually extract all files into specific directory 
  49. and run EDITPLUS.EXE directly. In this case you should rename 
  50. template.htm to template.html and template.jav to template.java.

  52. If you don't have Internet Explorer, you should download oleaut32.zip

  61. Execute 'Uninstall EditPlus' in the EditPlus 1.0 Start Menu folder or 
  62. open 'Add/Remove Programs' in Control Panel and double-click EditPlus 
  63. in the list box.
