Version 1.2 adds the following...
o LogOnG Let's you selectivly run in graphic mode. LogOn still
logs on in non-graphic mode but LogOnG will log on with
ANSI Graphics.
o MarkMail 2.0 Support for MarkMail 2.0 has been added. The prompts
are slightly different than 1.xx and it also let's you
select the protocol on the fly. Select [N]one and
whatever protocol you specify in the note file will be
used.
o Modified PCB AutoMate will now work with PCBoards which have their
command prompts modified to include the user name.
(e.g. Main Board Command? v. Main Board - Your Command
Marc?) AutoMate will AUTOMATICALLY detect this type of
prompt and requires configuration.
o Qmodem HOST AutoMate now works with Qmodem's internal Host Mode.
You can now automate sessions to Qmodem's host. You
can send and receive files automatically via timed
sessions. Great for passing files from a remote
location to a central office.
o Spitfire AutoMate 1.2 now works with Spitfire! No configuration
is necessary. AutoMate will detect the Spitfire board
and adjust. You can now automate file and mail
transfers to Spitfire boards! Change passwords too!
o GAP 5.0 We've also added FULL GAP Support to AutoMate 1.2 All
AutoMate commands with the exception of GetBulletins
are available. GAP boards will also be automatically
detected during the log on sequence. No config!
o MORE MAIL In addition to MarkMail 2.0 AutoMate works with SFMail
DOORS for Spitfire and The Complete Mail Door for PCBoards.
This brings the count to seven (yes, 7) supported mail
doors in nine varieties.
o Advanced Four additional commands are included. All begin with
Commands "SET". The "SET" commands allow you more control over
where files/mail packets are stored and retrieved.
o Streamlined The code itself has been kept small by eliminating all
indentations in the release. As the multi-board
functions were written in the code grew 36K 28% of
which was leading spaces. By removing these in the
release the code was kept to the same 28K as the
previous release. This will speed loading of AutoMate
and reduce the disk space required. The "pretty"
version with full comments is available to registered
users.
