  7.    This file contains additional information and changes about the
  8.    various software that was not available at printing time.

  12.    Intel DOS Configuration Manager DWCFGMG.SYS
  13.    ===========================================

  15.    Please note that on certain 486/Pentium machines with Phoenix BIOS 
  16.    (PnP release 1.1A), if the EMM386.EXE specified with RAM or NOEMS option is 
  17.    loaded together with the Intel DOS Configuration Manager DWCFGMG.SYS in the 
  18.    CONFIG.SYS file, the system will reboot by itself upon startup. Please remove
  19.    any parameters if encounter this problem.

  22.    Installation on Win3.1x Platform
  23.    ================================

  25.    For installing the audio drivers on Win3.1x, please run the ISA Configuration
  26.    Utility (ICU) first. The ICU helps to determine a working configuration that
  27.    does not conflict with other cards in the system. You can refer to the Easy 
  28.    Start Manual for more details.

  30.    On Windows 3.1x Operating System, choose 'Run' from the 'File' menu. Insert
  31.    the Audio Installation Disk#1 into Drive A: (or Drive B:) and change the path to a:\setup (or 
  32.    b:\setup). For more details, you can refer to the Easy Start Manual.

  35.    Installation on Windows 95 Platform
  36.    ===================================

  38.    Start up Windows 95 Operating System. Windows 95 will then automatically 
  39.    detects the AZT2320 PnP Sound Device and prompts a dialog box with the 
  40.    option "Driver from disk provided by manufacturers" being highlighted.
  41.    Please insert the Audio Installation Disk#1 into Drive A: (or Drive B:)
  42.    and change the path to a:\ (or b:\) and click OK to install the drivers. 
  43.    Windows 95 will then automatically proceed to detect all the other
  44.    logical devices. 
  45.  
  46.    Note: If you do not have Windows 95 Multimedia Applications installed
  47.          previously, system will prompt you to complete the installation of
  48.          the Multimedia Applications prior to the copying of the Audio Device 
  49.          drivers. Just follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
  50.          installation of Multimedia Application and AZT2320 PnP Sound Drivers.

  52.    Next, please proceed to run 'A:\SETUP.EXE' from the PnP Audio Installation
  53.    Disk #1 to install the application software.

  55.    You might encounter some resource conflicts after loading the PnP 
  56.    devices (especially when there are non-Plug & Play adaptors installed in 
  57.    your system). Please refer to Trouble-shooting section in Windows 95 for 
  58.    further details.

  61.    Upgrading from Win3.x to Win95 platform
  62.    =======================================

  64.    If you have set up your audio card on a Win3.x platform and want to upgrade
  65.    to Windows 95, remember to remove the audio drivers by doing a deinstallation
  66.    first. For more details, you can refer to the Appendix section in the User's
  67.    Manual.

  70.    Cards with 3D function
  71.    ======================

  73.    If your card has 3D function, after installing SETUP or restarting from
  74.    Windows, you can activate the 3D function by clicking on the '3D' button
  75.    which is located on the audio mixer. 
  76.    For Windows 3.x, the mixer can be found in the program group formed after
  77.    installation.
  78.    For Windows 95, the mixer can be found under the group name formed after
  79.    installation. This is in turn located under 'Programs' in the 'Start' menu.
