  14. all of the elements from the game are present.

  19. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  21. * Pentium 133 or higher.
  22. * VGA video adapter and monitor.
  23. * Standard Windows PCI audio card.
  24. * Windows 95/98.
  25. * Nine Megabytes (9MB) of available disk space.

  28. 1. Tyrian 2000 runs under DOS but can be run from Windows. The demo has been installed
  29.    in the START -> PROGRAMS menu. You may start the game from here. Even though Tyrian
  30.    2000 can be run under DOS, we strongly recommend that you run the game from Windows.

  32. 2. YOU MUST RUN THE SETUP PROGRAM FIRST. This will allow you to setup the computer's
  33.    sound system for music and sound effects. You may run setup from the START -> PROGRAMS
  34.    menu. Note: Tyrian 2000 will automatically run this program if you do not.

  36. 3. We recommend trying the MIDI SELECTION PORT #330 for a higher quality of sound.

  38. 4. To use the Ship Editor, follow the same procedures above.

  40. 5. ORDERT2K.HTML contains game specifications, features and ordering information for the
  41.    complete game. We recommend connecting to the internet before launching this. However,
  42.    it can be viewed in your browser without a connection. You may also view this file from
  43.    the START -> PROGRAMS menu. NOTE: To get the pictures within and jump to the Official
  44.    Tyrian 2000 page you must be logged onto the internet.

  46. 6. The game does not support two joysticks at one time for two player mode.
  47.    You cannot use the patch through abilities of something like the Wingman
  48.    or Sidewinders, nor can you use a splitter.  The game cannot make use of
  49.    both controllers in two player mode.  It can only use combos of two of the
  50.    following: the mouse, one controller, or the keyboard.

  52. 7. The game does not support the "GrIP" feature on the Gravis Gamepad Pro. If
  53.    the GrIP switch is set to "GrIP" on the back of the Gravis Gamepad Pro, Tyrian
  54.    2000 will not function.  You will see the main menu appear for a second before
  55.    being booted back to Windows.  The GrIP switch must be turned to the "One
  56.    Player" selection on the back of the gamepad or else Tyrian 2000 will not work
  57.    with a Gravis Gamepad Pro.
